Oh blog, how I've missed you!
I've missed so much! I guess I've been a busy little bee over here in Salt Lake City! Work has been crazy lately! I leave at 7:00 and usually don't get home until 6:30. Right now they are longer hours then I prefer, but it's a good place to be - I really love the people I work with so that makes all the difference. After work I come home, make dinner (unless BJ is already home before me, then he makes it!), we go to the gym, come home and go to bed. There hasn't been much time to blog, but it's such a great life. I wouldn't trade it for anything! Let's play a little catch up.
Our First Thanksgiving.
It was so great. BJ and I had to stay here in Salt Lake because he couldn't get work off AND because it was already so expensive to go home for Christmas. We had our own "first" little Thanksgiving here at our home and it really was wonderful. We made pies the night before, woke up and started cooking cooking COOKING! We watched some of the Macy's Day Parade and then we went bowling. It was a blast - this may be a new tradition in our little Hubbard family. BJ won by leaps and bounds. I guess he was just having a lucky day ;) Then we came home, finished up preparing the food and we ate. We ate and ate and ate but soon realized we did not cook for 2 people. We cooked for 10. We had left overs for well over a week! It was delicious though - Thanksgiving left overs are the best. Later that evening we enjoyed a nice walk downtown through Temple Square. This Thanksgiving really was a special one. It was different. We are both used to big family gatherings. Although it was hard being away from our families that day, it was just us and it was so special - possibly the only Thanksgiving we will share together, just us. I loved every minute of it. I love every minute I'm with him.
BJ cut the apples up for my apple pie!
Bowling!
Isn't he the handsomest thing you've ever seen!? I know!!!!
The Spread
BJ made us a delicious pumpkin pie!

Our walk on Temple Square
This year I am so thankful for my new life as Rebecca Hubbard. I love everything about it. I am so unbelievably grateful for my husband and the blessing that he is in my life. I would've never imagined I could be so lucky.
